KUALA LUMPUR, 6 October 2026 — IMU University has strengthened its commitment to dental education with the launch of Malaysia’s first Anthogyr Centre of Excellence, an initiative designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world clinical practice. Established through a collaboration between IMU University and Anthogyr, a Straumann Group brand specialising in dental implantology solutions, the Centre aims to provide future dentists with greater opportunities to gain practical experience before entering clinical practice.

The Centre will focus on hands-on education, exposure to contemporary implant technologies and knowledge exchange with experienced dental professionals. Through these initiatives, students will be able to develop greater confidence, strengthen their understanding of implant dentistry and improve their readiness to manage the demands of clinical practice.

Beyond student training, the Anthogyr Centre of Excellence will serve as a platform for clinical education, faculty development and industry-academia collaboration. It will also provide practising dental professionals with opportunities to expand their knowledge, explore emerging technologies and stay informed about evolving treatment approaches in implant dentistry.
